Search for the Vice President for Human Resource Services

After more than 32 years of service in higher education, Paula Varnes Fussell has announced her retirement.  She will retire as Vice President for Human Resource Services on May 31.  Accordingly, we have launched a search to fill the vacancy.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, the Vice President for Human Resource Services is a member of the President’s Cabinet and is commissioned to provide leadership developing effective human resource strategies aligned with overall institutional and business needs.  Responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing all human resources management functions, including recruitment, classification and compensation, training and organizational development, benefits and retirement programs, employee and labor relations, leave management, and workers’ compensation and unemployment benefits.
