New Faculty Orientation

To welcome new faculty to the University of Florida and provide information about available resources and services, UF Human Resources has partnered with the Office of the Provost and the Center for Teaching Excellence to provide an online version of New Faculty Orientation hosted via Canvas: https://elearning.ufl.edu/.

The orientation site — which will be available to new faculty as they are hired and throughout the academic year — is organized into modules featuring videos, helpful UF information, resources and links to classes and programs designed to help faculty navigate their first year at UF.

Beginning the week of Aug. 15, new faculty are also invited to attend a series of synchronous Zoom information sessions. A schedule as well as information on preparing for arrival at UF and getting acclimated may be found at https://welcome.hr.ufl.edu/getting-started/orientation/new-faculty-orientation/.
