Proposed 2023-2024 Fringe Benefit Pool Rates
Olga N. Weider, Assistant Vice President and University Controller
The University has calculated the new proposed fringe rates for fiscal year 2023-2024 and has submitted them to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Although we do not expect any objections, the proposed rates are subject to DHHS approval and should be used with that understanding in your planning for fiscal year 2023-2024. The rates, when approved, will be effective July 1, 2023.
The employee categories and corresponding proposed benefit rates are as follows:
|Faculty (9-, 10-, and 12-month)||29.3%||31.0%||-1.7%|
|COM Clinical Faculty||19.5%||19.6%||-0.1%|
|Housestaff/Clinical Post Docs (CPFI)||21.5%||21.8%||-0.3%|
