2025-2026 University of Florida Salary Increase Program
Joe Glover, Interim Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs
Melissa Curry, Vice President for Human Resources
We are pleased to announce the University of Florida’s salary increase program for faculty and staff. Although the university did not receive additional state operating funds for salary adjustments, the Board of Trustees has reallocated institutional resources to fund salary increases for faculty and staff. This decision underscores our deep appreciation for your dedication and the vital role you play in advancing the mission of the University of Florida.
Salary increases for faculty in the bargaining unit are subject to union negotiation, and we are committed to working with the United Faculty of Florida to reach agreement for covered faculty.
Implementation Timeline
Salary increases will be based on merit and/or prevailing market conditions and will be effective October 1, 2025. Managers and department administrators will utilize a raise review file to administer the process according to the following schedule:
- Tuesday, September 2 – Friday, September 12: Raise Review File available to managers and college departmental administrators to enter faculty and staff increases
- Monday, September 15 – Friday, September 19: Raise Review File available to college departmental administrators only
- Friday, October 17: First paycheck reflecting salary increases
Eligibility
To qualify for this year’s salary increase program, employees must have been hired by June 30, 2025. Comprehensive guidelines regarding additional eligibility criteria and process will be issued separately.
