Search for Dean of the College of Journalism & Communications

The Search Committee for the Dean of the College of Journalism and Communications has selected three finalists who will be visiting the campus during October:
- Battinto L. Batts, Jr., Ph.D., currently Director of Journalism Strategies at the Scripps Howard Foundation, will visit campus October 1-2, 2020.
- Aminda (Mindy) Marques Gonzalez, currently President & Publisher/Executive Editor at the Miami Herald, will visit campus October 5-6, 2020
- Hubert (Hub) Brown, currently Associate Dean for Research, Creativity, International Initiatives and Diversity, The S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, Syracuse University, will visit campus October 8-9, 2020
Their schedules will include a presentation and Q & A session for all interested faculty, staff and students. These are scheduled for:
