Dr. Charles E. Young has announced the appointment of David Colburn to serve as interim provost and vice president for Academic Affairs effective immediately. Dr. Colburn is currently vice provost and senior associate vice president for Academic Affairs and director of the Reubin Askew Institute at the University of Florida. However, effective January 3, 2000, Limited Purchase Orders will not be accepted either in Purchasing or in Disbursements except on local fund accounts. Burroughs Wellcome Fund’s 2000 Award Program “Interfaces between the Physical/Chemical/Computational Sciences and the Biological Sciences”
The Burroughs Wellcome Fund (BWF) is continuing its initiative to encourage the interdisciplinary training of promising graduate and postdoctoral students from the physical, chemical and computational sciences.
