As part of our continued efforts to ensure clear communication about enrollment and aid policies, we wanted to share some important information regarding the Latin American Caribbean (LAC) Scholarship.
According to Florida Statute 1009.21, students who are citizens of a Latin American or Caribbean country, who receive certain scholarships from federal or state sources, and who are enrolled full-time, may be classified as temporary in-state residents for tuition purposes.

Applications to request Distance Learning Fees for the spring 2025 term are now being accepted through MyUFL. All departmental applications should be submitted no later than Friday September 13th, 2024, and Dean’s approval is required by Friday September 20th.
Costs to recover delivery of eligible courses is allowed.

University of Florida General Counsel and Vice President Amy Hass has been named Deputy Athletic Director/Senior Women’s Administrator at the University of Florida, UF Athletics Director Scott Stricklin announced.
Hass joins the Gator staff after the departure of long-time administrator Lynda Tealer, who left Gainesville for a senior management position with the NCAA in May.
