Annual Contract for Office Supplies

The University has recently opened and evaluated an annual contract for office supplies but an award has not been made. We had hoped to have it in place to begin July 1, 1997. However, we may not have the final award and implementation details by the end of next week.

The award will probably be a multiple award to two or more vendors. The prices will constitute significant savings over what the University departments are currently paying.

The Purchasing offices will not be processing blankets for office supplies until the implementation details are available. If you have an urgent need for supplies and the blankets have not been issued you may do one of the following:

Use an LPO to purchase the item(s).Send Purchasing a special requisition for the item(s).Use the University Bookstore, until the blankets are in place.

We do not anticipate this to be later than July 31, 1997.
