Workshop on Violence in the Workplace, Sponsored by the Trauma Response Team

The University of Florida Trauma Response Team (TRT) and the Dean of Students Office invite faculty and staff to attend a workshop on December 14th from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM in the JWRU Ballroom. The TRT hosts a workshop each fall semester to provide information about issues affecting students and our community. The Fall 1999 workshop will focus on “Violence in the Workplace.” Topics covered will include:

• Recognizing the warning signs
• Understanding the behavior
• Impact of violence in the workplace
• Workplace violence prevention programs
• Violence issues affecting students and the community

The program will be facilitated by Michael Johnson, Shands at UF; Don Rogers, University Police Department; and Butch Johnson, Alachua County Sheriff’s Office.
