Kenneth J. Gerhardt, Interim Dean of the Graduate School

The Graduate School cordially invites you to attend our awards reception to honor the 2004-2005 recipients of the Graduate Student Teaching Awards. The 2004-2005 recipients will be announced at the reception at which they will receive plaques and monetary awards.

The top three ranked winners will receive a Calvin A. VanderWerf Award. The award was established in memory of Dr. VanderWerf, Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences from 1971 to 1978 and chemistry professor from 1978 to 1988, who served several years on the selection committee for the teaching awards.

The awards reception will be held on April 22, 2005 at 3:30 p.m. in the Friends of Music Room on the second floor of the University Auditorium. We hope that you will come to help us honor these outstanding teaching assistants. Please RSVP to Lorna Dishman at lornad@ufl.edu or 392-6622. Thank you.
