New IT Hardware and Peripherals Contract

Purchasing Services, in a joint effort with Florida State University, would like to announce the award of the new “IT Hardware and Peripherals” Contract #UF-K5067 which has been awarded to GovConnection and Hewlett Packard.

GovConnection and Hewlett Packard will be the University’s prime providers for desktop computers, laptops and servers. Under this contract GovConnection will also be the University’s provider for third party hardware and peripherals.

This contract, which represents an average savings of approximately 11% over the University’s current contracts and pricing for these products, includes bundle pricing for desktops and laptops that could provide an even greater savings compared to custom configurations.

This contract also allows for discounted personal purchases for all faculty, staff and students.
