Please do not forget to register for and attend the fourth session in the Provost’s Academic Administrators’ Seminar Series. The series is designed to bring together department chairs, directors, associate deans and deans in discussions about academic administrative management at UF.

This session offers tips for unit and organizational managers interacting with faculty members in evaluative and unique situations. Topics include how to provide faculty career flexibility or address questions about this subject as well as how to manage faculty evaluations, appointments, promotions and non-renewals. Using scenarios designed specifically for this session, a panel of current and past deans, chairs, and directors will address questions and discuss how to manage awkward, unusual or difficult situations involving staff and faculty members.
