Ceremonies: This summer, there will be two (2) university-wide commencement ceremonies – an Advanced Degree Ceremony (Saturday, August 7th at 10:00am) and a university-wide (all colleges) ceremony for Bachelor Degree candidates (Saturday, August 7th at 2:00pm). Both ceremonies will be held in the Stephen C. O’Connell Center. Please see the Commencement Website at under the heading Ceremonies Schedules for additional information. The College of Pharmacy has a separate ceremony on Saturday, August 7th at 10:00am in the HPNP Auditorium.

Ordering Regalia: The deadline for ordering academic regalia is Friday, June 30, 2010. Information on ordering regalia is available from the UF Bookstore (392-0194). An order form may be found at under the heading Instructions for Faculty. Payment is required when placing an order. Formal academic regalia is required for all faculty members attending commencement.

Faculty Escorts: Candidates for the Doctor of Philosophy, Doctor of Education, and Doctor of Plant Medicine degrees will be assigned an official commencement escort. Faculty designated as escorts will receive letters from the Office of the Provost with further details about responsibilities, assembly times, and hooding instructions. This letter is generally sent two weeks prior to commencement. However, if you have a graduate student scheduled to graduate during the summer term, please order your regalia on or before the June 30th deadline.
