Ceremonies: This summer, there will be two (2) university-wide commencement ceremonies – an Advanced Degree Ceremony (Saturday, August 6th at 10:00am) and a university-wide (all colleges) ceremony for Bachelor Degree candidates (Saturday, August 6th at 2:00pm). Both ceremonies will be held in the Stephen C. O’Connell Center. Please see the Commencement Website at http://www.registrar.ufl.edu/commencement/ under the heading Ceremonies Schedules for additional information. The College of Pharmacy has a separate ceremony on Saturday, August 6th at 2:00pm in the HPNP Auditorium.

Ordering Regalia: The deadline for ordering academic regalia is Friday, July 1, 2011. Information on ordering regalia is available from the UF Bookstore (392-0194). An order form may be found at http://www.registrar.ufl.edu/commencement/ under the heading Instructions for Faculty Escorts. Payment is required when placing an order. Formal academic regalia is required for all faculty members attending commencement.

Faculty Escorts: Candidates for the Doctor of Philosophy, Doctor of Education, and Doctor of Plant Medicine degrees will be assigned an official commencement escort. Faculty designated as escorts will receive an e-mail from the Office of the Provost with further details about responsibilities, assembly times, and hooding instructions. This e-mail is generally sent two weeks prior to commencement. However, if you have a graduate student scheduled to graduate during the summer term, please order your regalia on or before the July 1st deadline.
