Last month, I wrote a memo to Gov. Rick Scott addressing university accountability proposals, and more specifically, UF’s approach to accountability.

My goal was to provide some essential information and begin a dialogue with the governor’s office on this topic. The memo was released this week by the governor’s office following a public records request.

I feel it is important to share this document with you today so that you are aware of the university’s efforts as conversations about university accountability progress.
