The Office of Business Affairs is initiating a search to identify and hire the next Associate Vice President for Business Affairs. The Associate Vice President of Business Affairs is responsible for implementing strategies that advance the goals of the division and the University. This important appointment has direct responsibility for developing and managing the information technology, finance, communications and marketing, supplier diversity, and university event and permitting functions within Business Affairs. 

The Associate Vice President is also responsible for forging strategic relationships, embracing change and fostering new ways of doing business while providing support and transformational leadership. This position functions as a proactive steward of the university’s resources and services by protecting and enhancing them while balancing constituent needs and interests.  The Office is seeking an individual who has experience managing high-level finances, has a strong commitment to customer service, and can provide guidance and expertise as it relates to enterprise operations and strategic partnerships.

Finally, this position serves as liaison and resource to other Business Affairs divisions, including auxiliary organizations and enterprise operations, as well as to the university community by serving on a variety of university committees and advisory groups.
