Announcing the Associate Vice President for Student Life for Career and Integrative Partnerships

I am pleased to announce Ms. Ja’Net Glover has accepted the position of associate vice president for Student Life and executive director of the Career Connections Center.
Ja’Net has served as interim associate vice president for career and integrative partnerships and executive director of the Career Connections Center since Sep. 2023. Prior to that she served as senior director of the Career Connection Center. Ja’Net earned a Master of Science in management and a Bachelor of Science in recreation, parks, and tourism, both from the University of Florida.
Throughout her career, Ja’Net has passionately pursued creating opportunities that empower students to build the skills and networks essential for contributing positively to work, citizenship, and life. At UF, she has worked across our institution to engage our ecosystem to enhance the career readiness efforts for all students, including the expansion of resources, partnerships, and institutional outcomes.
In her new role, Ja’Net will lead the Division of Student Life’s career design initiatives including oversight of the Career Connections Center, the Machen Florida Opportunity Scholars Program, the David and Wanda Brown Center for Leadership & Service, First Generation Student Services, and divisional Talent Management. She will also spreadhead efforts to champion career and workforce development across the division and broader university to positively impact student post-graduation outcomes.
