Under UF Policy, students may not be penalized for observance of a religious holiday. Faculty should be aware that Monday April 25th is a full Jewish holiday during the Passover celebration that coincides with a final exam day. Faculty members are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the University’s policy concerning religious holidays and to provide students informing them of such a religious observance with the opportunity to take the final exam at another time.

Faculty and departments are asked to submit their Summer/Fall term textbook adoptions at http://www.textadoption.ufl.edu by March 27, 2005.
The posting of textbook requirements by this deadline helps students, as well as the local bookstores. Students can view course textbook requirements during registration on ISIS. This information helps students balance their course loads based on reading requirements and plan for their financial needs for purchasing books. Departments are encouraged to begin planning now for the 2005 fiscal year-end compensatory leave cash out for eligible USPS and TEAMS employees. The cash out of all accrued special and overtime compensatory leave on balance is tentatively scheduled for the pay period ending May 19, 2005.
