SACS Annual Goals’ Assessment

Every year the Office of Academic Affairs requests each college to report on progress toward the attainment of specified academic goals. This goals assessment enables colleges to identity how well they are meeting their specified educational goals and provides an ongoing mechanism for the university to monitor this important element of institutional effectiveness as specified by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).

Nominations are being accepted for the President’s Recognition of Outstanding Students. President Machen will recognize outstanding undergraduate, graduate and professional students at the annual President’s Recognition Reception on Wednesday, April 13, 2004. Faculty and staff may nominate five deserving students to attend.

Nominees must: Be in good standing with the University. Undergraduate nominees must have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Graduate or Professional student nominees must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Summer and Fall Textbook Adoptions

Submitting your texts by these dates assists both students and local bookstores. Fixed Equipment Inventory

The University has engaged the Professional Services of American Appraisal Associates (AAA) to perform a fixed equipment inventory of 172 buildings at the University of Florida that are used for Organized Research. The results of this study will be included as part of the University’s indirect cost proposal to the Federal Government.
