The Video Advisory Committee is developing an implementation plan based on the recommendations set forth in the Campus Video Infrastructure Report, dated July 10, 2000. The primary goal of the implementation plan is to provide seamless video accessibility between all UF units. This includes video sent over the data network, as well as that sent over ISDN or T1 lines provided by the telephone companies.

Orientation leaders are undergraduates who serve the University of Florida from May 5 through July 21 and assist new students and families with their transition to UF. Orientation leaders receive a stipend, summer housing, the waiving of the nine-credit summer requirement, and a great experience.

The Technical Assistants Program is designed to train students or staff who provide technical support in academic units. Departments may send full-time or student employees to TAP training.
TAP participants may elect to attend any or all of the subject areas being offered. These include: Client Services, Desktop Services, Webpage Design and Internet Essentials.
