Custodial Review Committee

Important dates concerning Fall semester tuition payment processing are listed below. Please be reminded that signed contracts (Letters of Appointment) are required for all Graduate Assistants. Completing an “on-line” Letter of Appointment does not replace the need to complete a contractual letter of appointment as specified in Article 2 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. As most of you know, Bridgestone/Firestone, Inc. has issued a recall for some of their Firestone tires. In particular, the P235/75R15 Radial ATX and Radial ATX II tires and all Wilderness AT tires with a “VD” code have been recalled.

Please check your vehicles to see if any are equipped with these tires. The tires were original equipment on many Ford Explorers and light pick-up trucks.

Custodial Review Committee Announced

A committee comprised of Physical Plant workers involved in shift changes and representatives from the UF Faculty Senate and Administrative Affairs will be appointed by the Provost on August 21, 2000 to provide on-going oversight of the shift changes. As a service to the University community, the Committee on Persons with Disabilities is coordinating departmental ADA information sessions throughout the academic year. The information sessions have been coordinated through the ADA Office and the Dean of Students Office.
