Class C Meal travel covers meal allowances for short or day trips where the traveler is not away from headquarters overnight. Effective with Payroll warrant date April 11, 2000, payments for Class C Meal travel will be paid by electronic fund transfer to all employees who have an EFT agreement on file. Pay upon demotion for USPS employees now may exceed the maximum of the pay grade range for the class to which the employee is demoting. This change, effective immediately, is based on revised State University System (SUS) rules and was recommended for approval and implementation by the University of Florida Personnel Advisory Committee.
Previously, SUS and UF rules allowed a demoting employee’s salary to be reduced or remain unchanged provided the maximum of the range was not exceeded. With this […]

Dr. Elson Floyd and Dr. James Moeser have withdrawn their applications for president of the University of Florida. All meetings, forums and receptions for the candidates are cancelled. Dr. Floyd was scheduled to visit UF Sunday, April 16 through Tuesday, April 18. Dr. Moeser was scheduled for Sunday, April 23 to Tuesday, April 25.
