I am writing to ask your assistance in reminding faculty and graduate teaching assistants that final examinations are to be given when scheduled. They should not be given during the reading period. If the faculty member has assigned a take home paper or a take home examination instead of an in-class final examination, students should have until the day of the final examination to complete the requirement.
