Due to the emergency situation that exists, departments may continue to update personnel records through noon Tuesday, September 14. There is no change in today’s schedule except the early close at noon. Given a good outcome on the upcoming storm, the on-line payroll certification processing is scheduled to begin on Thursday morning and close at 5:00 p.m. All payroll should be authorized by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

GAINESVILLE — Consistent with the Governor’s directive and county emergency procedures, President John V. Lombardi has announced the closing of the University of Florida from 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14 (end of 7th period) through Wednesday, Sept. 15.
Campus buildings, with the exceptions of those designated as shelters, will be closed and classes will be temporarily canceled during this time.

The University of Florida will be closed from 3 p.m. today (9/14) through Wednesday. Classes and normal business operations are scheduled to resume first thing Thursday morning (9/16)
Campus residence halls will remain open, as will the Reitz Union, Gator Corner and Racquet Club dining centers.
Essential operational employees such as law enforcement, health care and selected physical plant workers are expected to report to work as normal, per instructions from their supervisors.

The goal is to consolidate, under one username and password, the many userids and passwords now needed to reach different campus administrative computing services.
