In November 1998, we revised our cost transfer guidelines to state that cost transfers must be made within 60 days of the error or 30 days after the end of the project budget period, whichever date occurs first. We have engaged the Professional Services firm of American Appraisal Associates (AAA) to perform a Building Componentization and Fixed Equipment inventory for approximately 150 of the University of Florida’s facilities utilized for Organized Research. Additionally, AAA will be performing a physical inspection of the remaining University buildings that are not utilized in Organized Research. Effective July 1, 1999, UF Mail Services will no longer attempt to deliver unendorsed Standard A Mail (Bulk Rate Mail) that does not contain your correct PO Box address. According to the US Post Office, incorrectly addressed unendorsed Standard A Mail is not deliverable. UF Mail Services will continue to research and forward all other improperly addressed mail; this mail will be returned to sender only if the recipient cannot be located.
