UF has signed a three-year agreement to purchase information technology training, research, and consulting services from the Gartner Group. Gartner Group is an independent advisor of research and analysis to professionals making information technology decisions. They are also a leading developer and publisher providing technology-based software education products and services. This alliance will provide UF with additional resources to help meet the demands of technology growth for the new millennium.

The University of Florida Calendar of Events is maintained off the UF Homepage and includes university events and critical dates, from listing the exhibits today at the Harn Museum of Art to the football dates for next fall or the date of summer commencement in the year 2001. Even religious holidays are included for planning purposes.

Academic Affairs has made improvements in the processes used to issue tuition payments to reduce the paperwork needed and to insure the accuracy and monitoring of need-based scholarships.
Need-based Scholarships
Need-based scholarships for spring semester will be processed using the Letter of Appointment (LOA) file rather than completing the Scholarship Notification Document. Departments will no longer need to submit paperwork to Student Financial Affairs to grant these scholarships for payment of fees. Each college’s allocation for these dollars will be […]

Annual leave may be advanced to and used by those USPS and A&P employees who do not have sufficient amounts of leave to cover normal working hours for the period of December 22, 1997, through January 2, 1998. The memorandum dated 4 December regarding parking restrictions for the time period 20 December – 5 January is incorrect. It states that restrictions are lifted in designated lots through 5 January. It should read that restrictions for all lots will be reinstated effective 5 January. Below are the correct guidelines for parking restriction enforcement for 20 December through 4 January:
