The Chief Financial Officer and University Controller have created a new expenditure policy for business expenses related to hosted business meals, University functions, and entertainment to update the existing University Disbursements directives. The goal of this policy is to provide guidelines to ensure the business purposes of entertainment, hospitality and recognition are reasonable, and to set clear limitations for expenses. This policy is effective immediately.

ceremonies will be held in the Stephen C. O’Connell Center.

will be two university-wide commencement ceremonies — a Doctoral
Degree Ceremony (Friday, August 9th at 4:00pm) and a Master’s/Specialist’s/Bachelor’s
Degrees Ceremony (Saturday, August 10th at 10:00am).

Ferl as the Assistant Vice President for Research – Strategic Projects within the
