Under this program, effective October 1, 2013, eligible faculty earning $40,000 a year or less will receive an increase of $1,400 to their September 30 annual base salary. In order to provide a meaningful way to help families of UF students who pass away without completing all of the requirements for a degree, the Office of the Provost, in consultation with the Faculty Senate and the Division of Student Affairs, has developed a policy for the awarding of Posthumous Degrees and In Memoriam Degrees.
