National Sustainability Conference Planning Meeting – 3/8/06

The University of Florida plans to host a two-day national conference on the role of universities in creating a more sustainable future. The conference will coincide with the fourth annual National Campus Sustainability Day on October 25, 2006.

The conference will address the University of Florida’s efforts in sustainability research, education, and operations, in the context of other state and national initiatives. In turn, the conference will explore opportunities to integrate campus sustainability programs with their surrounding communities.

Please join planning committee members on March 8, 2006 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm in the Reitz Union, Room 282 to co-design this sustainable campus leadership forum. Broad participation in the planning process will be critical to the success of this event.
