New Faculty Orientation

To welcome new faculty to the University of Florida and provide information about available resources and services, UF Human Resources has partnered with the Office of the Provost and the Center for Teaching Excellence to provide an online version of New Faculty Orientation hosted via Canvas. More than 400 faculty new to the University have been invited to complete orientation online.

The orientation site, which will continue to be available as a resource for faculty as new faculty are hired throughout the academic year, is organized into modules featuring videos, helpful information, and resources about various departments on campus as well as a schedule of virtual information sessions to attend and links to classes and programs designed to help faculty navigate their first year at UF.

Beginning this week, new faculty also were invited to attend a series of synchronous Zoom information sessions and open houses.
