In July 2004, the university converted legacy financial and grants management systems to PeopleSoft along with new business intelligence capabilities, a new human resource system and the myUFL portal. We thank all staff and faculty for their effort in helping the university implement and adapt to the largest single change in UF administrative history. Once submitted, this information is available on-line to all bookstores, providing both students and bookstores timely and correct information about textbook requirements. The University of Florida currently has a direct deposit policy that states, “All employees, including temporary hires and non-work study students, are required to participate in the Direct Deposit Program as a condition of employment, regardless of date of hire.” By Federal Regulations, Work-Study students are not required to participate in the Direct Deposit Program, but they are encouraged by the University of Florida to participate.
