The above-referenced rules as proposed or as proposed to be amended were published in The Gainesville Sun on September 24, 2003. These rule changes in their final form are now effective and have been published on the General Counsel’s website at http://www.generalcounsel.ufl.edu/rules.htm.

Revised Payroll Schedule/Pay Date

The Chief Financial Officer of the State has announced that the pay date of December 26, 2003 will be moved up to December 24, 2003, Christmas Eve. Our schedule for this payday has been revised as well. The early pay date means that our previously published certification and authorization deadline has been changed. Certifications will open on Friday, December 12, 2003 and must be authorized by 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 15, 2003.

USPS and TEAMS Salary Increases Effective December 1, 2003

The Division of Human Resources is pleased to announce the following guidelines for the December 1, 2003, salary increases provided by the Florida Legislature. Eligible full-time employees will receive a salary increase, which is based on calculations using salaries on November 30, 2003. All eligible full-time employees will receive a minimum increase of $500-no increase can exceed $1,400. Part-time employees will receive a prorated increase.
