Each year, we establish rates based on anticipated raw utility cost, plus other production, distribution and operational costs to provide these services. One of the services provided by the Physical Plant Division is to provide an estimate to colleges/departments that are contemplating minor construction/renovation to their facility. Usually these projects do not exceed $50,000. Unfortunately, over 85% of these estimates are never funded by the requesting college/department.
Effective immediately, colleges/departments requesting an estimate for proposed minor construction/renovation will be required to pay a fixed charge of $100 per estimate or 10% of the project estimate (whichever is lowest). Additionally, […]

As mentioned in the April 10 memorandum from Provost David Colburn, this office will be conducting training sessions on the new capitation method for charging contracts & grants that will be effective Fall 2003. These sessions will include discussion on the impact that this policy change will have on state tuition waiver authority and direct charges to MG&G and Auxiliaries.
