I am pleased to announce the completion of the reorganization of the Office of Development and Alumni Affairs with the promotion of three long serving employees.

Bruce DeLaney is our new Assistant Vice President for Administration – Real Estate, Ken Hillier, Assistant Vice President for Administration – Finance, and Michael House, Assistant Vice President for Administration – Operations.

Chancellor, Young reach agreement on UF presidency

University of Florida Interim President Charles Young will continue to serve the university, Chancellor Adam Herbert announced today.

Computer Literacy

As you are aware, the University of Florida has undertaken a significant effort to upgrade the technology infrastructure in order to support its teaching and research mission. In addition, we have launched an effort to support the faculty use of technology in the classroom. The Office of Academic Affairs now proposes a second stage in our planning for the use of this infrastructure, one designed for enhancing students’ computer skills.
