Sustained Superior Performance Special Pay Increase Category for USPS and A&P Employees

University Personnel Services is pleased to announce the addition of a new special pay increase category: sustained superior performance. This category is available for use immediately and has been added to four current special pay categories: market conditions, salary compression or inversion, increases to resolve a pay disparity, and increased responsibility.

UF Presidential Candidate Search

Candidates for the presidency of the University of Florida will be announced at the Presidential Search and Advisory Committee (SAC) meeting beginning at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 4, in the Auditorium of the Brain Institute. The first finalist is scheduled to visit campus April 9-11. All meetings are open to the public. The SAC interview will be carried live via the Internet.

Additions and Changes to Faculty Modifiers

The following modifiers have been added to the faculty pay plan and are available for immediate use:

Affiliated Clinical – This modifier applies to unpaid faculty appointments in the health care departments that are given to persons who may or may not be otherwise affiliated with the university. The Retirement of Richard Downie

Richard Downie has announced his retirement effective April 1, 2000. Downie has served the university for 24 years and became associate director for the international center in 1990. He has worked in international education for some 35 years.

This type of fraud involves a perpetrator who calls an office and cons an unsuspecting worker into transferring him or her to an outside line.
