McFarlin has indicated her intention to step down from her administrative
position in early 2021.

I am very pleased to announce today that
J. Scott Angle, PhD, will be joining the UF/IFAS family as vice president of
agriculture and natural resources. His first day will be July 13,
2020. Dr. Angle will oversee UF’s College of Agricultural and Life
Sciences with more than 6,000 students, the Florida Cooperative Extension
Service, and the Florida Agricultural Experiment Station’s network of research
centers. He succeeds Jack Payne, who is retiring after 10 years in that

to prepare for the annual closing of the fiscal year. The 2019-20 fiscal year
ends on June 30, 2020 and the scheduled date for closing the General Ledger for
the 2020 fiscal year is Tuesday, July 14, 2020.

The University has calculated the new proposed pooled fringe rates for fiscal year 2020-2021 and has submitted them to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Although we do not expect any objections, the proposed rates are subject to DHHS approval and should be used with that understanding in your planning for fiscal year 2020-2021. The rates, when approved, will be effective July 1, 2020.

Dates for Fiscal Year 2020-2021 can be accessed on the Payroll Services,
