Applications to establish or adjust Material and Supply Fees and Equipment Use Fees for the Spring 2013 Term are now being accepted. All departmental requests should be submitted no later than September 21, 2012 and Deans approvals by September 28, 2012.

A reliable method of identifying people requesting access to UF’s electronic data is required to ensure the security of the university’s data and computing resources. Also, to meet the InCommon Federation’s1 compliance requirements, the method for identifying users and storing electronic data information access underwent extensive review. The Board of the University Women’s Club has approved five (5) scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each to be awarded to graduate students this year. The student must, at least, be completing the first year of graduate study and must be a U.S. citizen and permanent resident. The University has calculated new proposed pooled fringe rates and has submitted them to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Although we do not expect any objection, these proposed rates are subject to their approval and as such should be used with that understanding in your planning for fiscal year 2012-13. The rates, when approved, will be effective July 1, 2012.
