The University has calculated new proposed pooled fringe rates and has submitted them to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Although we do not expect any objection, these proposed rates are subject to their approval and as such should be used with that understanding in your planning for fiscal year 2011-12. The rates, when approved, will be effective July 1, 2011.

Applications to establish or adjust Material and Supply Fees and Equipment Use Fees for the Spring 2012 term are now being accepted. All departmental requests should be submitted no later than September 16, 2011 and Deans approvals by September 23, 2011.

It is that time of year again to prepare for the annual closing of the fiscal year. The 2010-2011 fiscal year ends on June 30, 2011. The scheduled date for closing the General Ledger for the 2011 fiscal year is Friday, July 15, 2011.
