In addition to the Christmas and New Year holidays, the university also will observe a holiday closing period this year from December 26 through December 29. The General Services Administration (GSA) has released the standard mileage rates to use for 2007 in computing the reimbursement for operating an automobile for business purposes.
Beginning January 1, 2007, the standard mileage rates to reimburse for the use of a privately owned automobile for business purposes will be 48.5 cents a mile for all business miles driven.
