The report is the conclusion of the work of the Campus Climate Committee, which was charged with evaluating UF’s current programs, identifying best practices at other institutions and making recommendations on how to improve the environment for GLBT students on this campus.

Livable Wage

UF Vice President for Finance and Administration Ed Poppell has approved a program to increase the minimum pay for entry- level staff employees. Effective Feb. 13, 2004, the minimum pay for all employees will be raised to $8.50 per hour, a 6 percent increase over the current minimum of $8 per hour.
