On August 1, the University will launch new Web-based reporting tools that will provide a simple way to view, create or download reports from existing yet improved data sources, including personnel data, financial data, payroll history data, directory data and student data. Authorized users will be able to use these tools via the myUFL portal (http://my.ufl.edu) to produce pre-defined, delivered reports as well as to define new ones.

As in previous years, the Operating Budget for 2003-2004 will be posted to FLAIR on or before July 18, 2003. In the event the new year Operating Budget is not installed in the FLAIR by July 18, 2003, available balance override will be authorized to allow all processing to continue until it is posted.

The Jobs and Growth Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2003 includes reduced rates of federal income tax withholding. The new income tax withholding rates for University of Florida employees will go into effect for pay dates beginning in July 2003. The new Tables for Percentage Method of Withholding may be used to determine your biweekly withholding tax.

This information may be accessed on the web at http://www.admin.ufl.edu/ddd/attach02-03/StudentTuitionFees2003-2004-1.pdf. Fall 2003 fees are shown in comparison to Fall 2002 fees. Changes are highlighted in bold print.
