Eligibility dates for tuition payments for graduate assistants will be based on the duties of the graduate student.

Assistants hired for teaching, i.e., Graduate Assistant- T, Graduate Teaching Assistant, Graduate Teaching Associate, and Senior Graduate Teaching Associate, must be employed at least the following dates:

Fall Term – 2002        08/19/02 – 12/20/02         9.0
Spring Term – 2003    12/31/02 – 05/05/03         9.0

I am pleased to announce that the Telecommunications Department previously reporting to the Physical Plant Division has now become part of the Office of Information Technology (OIT – Telecommunications). This transfer follows the strategic recommendations of the IT review committee and will enhance the effectiveness of the Telecommunications Department as a University of Florida resource.
