Transfer Student Orientation Parking Impacts

This is a reminder that Transfer Student Orientation will impact parking on Thursday, November 16, 2000. The gates will be raised at the Newell parking garage to accommodate Preview attendees. Parking enforcement will be lifted for all Orange parking areas in the vicinity of the Reitz Union. Preview attendees will also be allowed to park in the McCarty parking lots and the Engineering lot across Museum Drive from the Reitz Union.

Parking Impacts Due To High School District Swim Meets

This is a reminder that the upper two levels of the O’Connell Center parking garage have been reserved from Tuesday, November 7, 2000 through Thursday, November 9, 2000 for the High School District Swim Meets. Alternate parking for people displaced from the event is available in the North End Zone grass lot on November 8 and 9 only. The North End Zone grass lot is reserved on November 7, 2000 for a University Athletic Association event.

In the past, BellSouth was authorized to recover its federal Universal Service Fund contributions through access charges billed to the interstate long distance carriers. The interstate long distance carriers also billed their end user customers separately for their costs associates with Universal Service. Spring Semester Textbook Adoptions

Faculty and staff are encouraged to submit course adoption information in a timely manner to assure books are available to students before classes begin in January 2001. The on- line textbook and course material adoption system can be found on the web at: www.textadoption.ufl.edu.
