The University of Florida Trauma Response Team (TRT) and the Dean of Students Office invite faculty and staff to attend a workshop on December 14th from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM in the JWRU Ballroom. The TRT hosts a workshop each fall semester to provide information about issues affecting students and our community. The University of Florida recently amended and extended our agreement with Coca-Cola through August 15, 2005. The agreement now includes the University Athletic Association, Shands at the University of Florida, as well as the University. The University has benefited greatly from our relationship with Coca-Cola, which has allowed for the purchase of audio-visual equipment for classrooms, classroom upgrades, the web-based computer kiosks across campus, athletic equipment (including scoreboards) and more. The Inspector General recently concluded an audit of Contracts and Grants Decentralized Accounting (i.e., the accounting done in the departments on grants and contracts). In the course of the audit, they recommended that departmental staff be better informed of limitations defined by grant and contract documentation.
