Recent changes in federal law now permit the University to pay alien visitors with B-1 and B-2 visas, and aliens arriving from Visa Waiver Pilot Program countries. The following are the guidelines and procedures for making these payments.

Please be advised that the Minor Project/Construction Request procedure issued on June 30, 1997 has been revised. Attached for your use is a copy of the revised procedure that reflects the inclusion of the following changes in university rules and regulations.
The name of the form has been changed from “Minor Project/Construction Permit” to “Minor Project/Construction Request” to avoid confusion between this procedure and the Building Code Permit and Inspection Program recently established by Environmental Health and Safety Division.
