The Purchasing Division is pleased to announce that a university contract for maintenance insurance has been awarded to CIC Agency Inc. The concept of maintenance insurance provides that for a pre-determined monthly fee, all preventive maintenance and repair costs for an item of equipment will be paid for by CIC Agency Inc. Please make the forms available to the USPS employees in your department. Since each person who enrolls in a seminar must submit a separate application, the forms may be duplicated as necessary.

Florida Statutes require the University of Florida to increase purchasing activities with Minority Business Enterprises certified by the State Commission on Minority Economic and Business Development. The Commission has set the University’s 1995-96 Certified Minority Business Enterprise (CMBE) goal at approximately $8 million. In order to achieve this goal, cooperation and assistance of each department is required.
