No classes should be held on reading days, and students are encouraged to use these days for study and review. I am pleased to announce that Joseph Joyce, Associate Vice President for Agriculture and Natural Resources, will leave that position to lead the development of an IFAS Center aimed at leadership development.
In his new role, Joyce will manage the overall coordination and delivery of leadership programs within UF/IFAS and develop appropriate linkages with other leadership programs. His new job begins July 1.

I am pleased to announce that Elaine Turner, senior associate dean and interim dean for the University of Florida College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, has been named dean of that college, effective April 11.
Dr. Turner has been interim dean of the school since early January. She succeeds Teri Balser.
