The University of Florida has prepared the following swine flu-related information to assist colleges and departments operating camps affiliated with the university.

This information is being provided in response to recent Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance regarding several outbreaks of the influenza A(H1N1) virus at day and residential camps across the country. Veteran Status Survey

As a federal contractor, the University of Florida is subject to the Veteran’s Readjustment Act of 1974 that requires the university to report veteran status annually for employees and new hires. The university collects veteran status information upon hire; however, due to changes in the veteran status codes, employee data previously collected and stored in the myUFL system is no longer aligned with the new federal reporting requirements.

Changes to Custodial Services

Budget reductions at the University of Florida have caused the Physical Plant Division to re-examine our business practices and some changes to services will result from the belt-tightening.
