Under Florida statute 1009.21, full-time students from Latin America and the Caribbean (including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands) who receive scholarships from the federal or state government qualify for in-state tuition. We are very pleased to share with you that as of June 30, 2007 virtually all endowment funds have received an increase in their spendable bases. We have scheduled a few workshops to discuss the preparation of the tenure/promotion packets and the University evaluation process for 2007-2008.
