In response to input from many users, effective April 10, 2000, there will be a new procedure for preparing vouchers in the Travel Request and Reimbursement Information Processing System (TRRIPS). The traveler will no longer be required to sign-on to TRRIPS and approve his or her travel vouchers electronically. Park and Ride Lifted
Scooter Zones Lifted
All Decal Lifted
Orange Restrictions remain in effect
Blue Restrictions remain in effect
Brown (Family Housing) Restrictions remain in effect
Gated Restrictions remain in effect
Meter Enforcement Restrictions remain in effect
* All reserved spaces, services drives, handicapped, carpool and no parking zones will be enforced at all times.
* All decal restrictions remain in effect at all other times throughout the month.

The names of six finalists for the presidency of the University of Florida who will visit campus were announced at a meeting of the Presidential Search Advisory Committee (SAC) today. The candidates will be interviewed at the University of Florida by April 28.

Current decals expire on May 1, 2000. In order to ensure that you do not receive any parking citations, decals should be renewed prior to this time. Decals can be renewed in several ways:
1) order them via the internet at www.bsd.ufl.edu
2) fill out and return the annual mail-out which you will soon receive in the mail or
3) come to Transportation and Parking Services’ Decal Office at the corner of North-South Drive and Mowry Road.

On April 5, the University of Florida will sponsor the inaugural UF Internet2 (I2) Day. It will take place in the Brain Institute Auditorium from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., with a reception to be held afterwards in LG100. Recent audit findings have shown that there are misinterpretations of the classifications of Service Vehicle designations. Service Vehicles are identified as those conveyances that operate a fixed route (Fixed Route Vehicles), have a fixed purpose (Fixed Purpose Vehicles), or are specifically assigned to a single operator (Assigned Vehicles). Vehicle Use Records (Form FA-UF-VUR) are required for all university owned motor vehicles, except certain Service Vehicles, farm equipment (i.e. tractors) and non- licensed equipment (i.e. golf carts).
