The University Committee reviewing UF’s rules and procedures regarding tenure and promotion met today and began streamlining the rules so that all tenure and promotion cases will proceed forward to the President. The University Committee reviewing UF’s rules and procedures regarding tenure and promotion has begun meeting. The Committee is working through the language in the University Rules, Faculty Handbook, and Constitution to reestablish the traditions of the tenure and promotion process at UF.

The cost incurred by Administrative Affairs to support these functions continue to increase at a pace more rapid than the growth of the enterprises. Moving and Equipment Loan Service

Traditionally, the Builder Services Department in Physical Plant has been providing loan of tables, chairs, risers, and podiums for official University programs. A dedicated crew was established to inventory and deliver and pick-up these loaned items. When the crew was not engaged in equipment loans, it was made available to E&G activities to move furniture and other bulky and heavy items. The purpose of this memorandum is to provide for the establishment of coordinated procedures for receipt of payments from outside third-parties through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) network.
